§ 3-150. Retailer to purchase from licensed wholesaler only.

(a)

No retailer shall purchase alcoholic beverages from any person, firm or corporation other than a wholesaler licensed by the state. No wholesaler shall sell any alcoholic beverage to anyone other than a retailer licensed under this chapter. However, this section shall not prohibit the purchase by one retailer of another retailer's entire stock in a bona fide purchase of an ongoing business.

(b)

The city manager or designee may request, information concerning purchases and sales of alcoholic beverages from retailers and wholesalers.
